Weather Channel in my Mobile Office

Yesterday as I was @ The Brew House in La Plata (Mobile Office) when I ran into a news team from the Weather Channel. Actually, the young lady in this news feed is the one that I spoke with in relation to the story they were covering. Oh yeah, the actual conversation triggered because the video guy pulled out his Mac Book Pro 15" : )

It was interesting to find out that they were covering the story of the tornado that ripped through the town of La Plata in 2002. In this video http://www.weather.com/multimedia/videoplayer.html?clip=6428&collection=videocoll26&from=vid_brws2&tab=3&nav=141 there is a man they were interviewing that unfortunately lost his love (wife) during this tragic event. The town of La Plata will be having a memorial service and event this Saturday in memory of those lost during this storm in 2002.

You Are In Our Prayers

There is a lot of talk, hurt, confusion, and pain from this most recent tragedy that took place at Va Tech. I believe America is still in shock and is grappling through what to make of all this. I often say this and I hope no one gets offended, "Life is hard, but God is good." We will never be able to fully explain something of this caliber. All we can do is pray that we can do something as a church to reach more people.

I believe that the church needs to counter attack this murdering spirit in our nation. The closer it gets to His return..... the more perilous it will get. Below I have a scripture that we as a church need to be mindful of.......

Matthew 11:12
