Is This What Christmas Is About?!?!

How Can I Work Under All This Pressure?!?!

Today I am working from home and getting some things done early in the week. But I have a question.....how can I do this with my wife and sister-in-law downstairs making cookies and crap?!?!

Not only that! The doorbell rings and the mailman drops off a package which is from my mother in S.C. Guess what it was?!?! Her famous Peanut Butter Balls (Ahhhhhh!!!!). How can I work and stay healthy around this time of year. There is tooooooo much going on! Hold on.....maybe it is the sugar kicking in!

Anyone else have this problem besides me?

(Office candy, family cookies, eggnog, chocolate, parties, etc....etc...etc!)

Is This The Truth?

I truly believe that individuals feel this way at one place or another in their continuum's at their local churches. We often habitually fall into an acceptance trap of what we perceive someone, group, pastor, leader, or church as a whole feels about us. This is a lie from the enemy and is straight from Hell! I have seen this more in the church than anywhere else. I stand today believing that we need to be God-Esteemed and not fall into this lie-trap from the enemy. Besides, it was never about you anyway : )

This post was more of a posting for us to have a laugh together. But to be honest, this organization donates their Mark outs to us for our Small Groups, Services, and any other Gathering that The SHOW may have and need them for.

What Is My Mood? ATTITUDE Yellow!

I was wondering if you could get a ring somewhere that is somewhat like a mood-ring? What I mean is this....a ring you can wear that determines ones ATTITUDE.

If this was possible or even realistic, I wonder if my mood would be Yellow?! If I could formulate the color-scheme myself; I would say RED is a Bad-Mood, Yellow would be an Average-Mood, and Green would be a Good-Mood. It is not that I am upset at any one thing, I believe as I was reflecting earlier today; maybe I am in a place where God is Stretching me. I mean everything is going great with the church, relationships are becoming more concrete and God-Centered, Leaders are stepping up and enjoying the process, we are embracing creativity in the growth process, just finished my last wedding for the year (that I know of), getting ready to travel and speak leadership to a bunch of Youth in New Jersey, getting ready to start 7 week series in November on, "Chase the Lion", celebrating my 11 year wedding anniversary this Friday, and praying for our new Sunday Experience location in the next several months.

Then it HIT me!!! Sometimes it is hard being Blessed! I mean.....we pray for opportunity, clarity, provision, people, learning, growth, etc. and when it comes we say, "hold up what is going on"?!?! But do you know what I came to the conclusion of @ the gym today? I was right in the middle of the floor and I just let out this BIG YESSSSSSSS!!!! I had to stop and look around :-) People may have thought this guy is nuts! But I began to thank Him for stepping into our space and being so mindful of where we are. I had to thank Him for allowing me to Chase the Lion that looms over top of the church, and I had to thank Him for it ALL! For His Amazing Grace, His Provision in the midst of the Vision, His hand in our circumstances, and Him pouring His favor in the people @ The SHOW. All in all....I wonder if a Attitude-Ring really existed, if at that moment it would have turned from yellow to...... GREEN?!?! How is your ATTITUDE Today?
